Making fritters

I had a fun time making corn and kumara fritters in cooking, I was really clever at grating the kumara using my muscles, they turned out crispy and fluffy inside, they were so delicious. 

SPCA

We went to the SPCA for an outing. It was cool looking at the dogs and cats. I enjoyed watching my friends pat the kittens. 

Lantern making

I went to the Greerton hall to take part in the lantern making workshop for the Illuminate festival this weekend. We had sticks of different sizes as long as masking tape paper and a glue paste. 

Sewing

For sewing we've been making all sorts. I helped make the Arohanui blanket and liked doing so I made this blanket for my niece. The back is fluffy and the front is cotton. It's like a sensory blanket. I think it's pretty neat. 

Fire fighter visit

The staff organised with Steve to get the fire fighters to come in for the guys. We were all lucky to join in. I had a blast! I even got to "pretend" to squirt the staff with the hose but little did they know I would actually pull for the lever for the water. It made my day! It was so funny
