Hamilton casino trip

I had so much fun in Hamilton, seeing the huge xmas tree and having lunch at the casino.

Ginger Christmas cookies

I had a ball in cooking rolling out spiced ginger dough and using Christmas cookie cutters to make the shapes wanted.

Painting nails!!

Yesterday I had a ball in girls group. We did nails and pampering, I got my nails painted a pretty red colour and then I asked my staff if I could paint her nails too. I did a really awesome job!! 

Hanging garden

i finished my hanging planter today during my garden art session. It looks really cool. I worked hard on painting, sanding , beading and planting over several sessions. I hope I don't kill the plant.

I have been working really hard on a cool bag that I measured and designed to fit my wheelchair. I put my name on it and chose a funky fabric and a funky bow to sew on. Today I am taking it home! I am such a legend!

today we had highland games I got to play gumboot throw, table tennis, balloon volleyball egg and spoon, our team won the balloon volley ball

Pasifika festival

My outing group went to the Greerton village school to watch the kids performing in the pasifika festival. It was amazing. It was awesome.

Flower power

i finished working on my garden wall art project today. I picked out all the colours and spent weeks colouring and painting. I really like it. Wahoo!

Girls group!

Today we went shopping to Tauranga crossing with girls group. We chose 3 new colours of nail polish to add to the collection. I like all the colours the same.

Working hard on my iPad

I had a blast today working on my iPad. I took selfies and looked at my Facebook. I also made a fun video on the Arohanui iPad with an app called "funny movie maker"

International noodle day

Today I participated in a shared lunch of healthy noodle lunch to celebrate noodle day. It was yummy.

Computer time

I am having computer time and am waiting for staff to write in my diary of what I have been up to today.

Shaking the shaker

I had an awesome time this afternoon. We had two special visitors Lester and Ngarie. They played awesome songs with us and I had a real blast. I shook the shaker so much I needed a fan down and a drink. 

Tennessee Waltz

I went to the Tennessee Waltz concert and had so much fun listening to the old music hehe

Garden art

We have been using the bottoms of plastic bottles and making flowers. We have painted them and have put fairy lights in the centre. They look pretty cool.

Hot pink nails

Today in girls group I chose a stylish hot pink colour for my nails, threatened to tickle all my staff and then had a relaxing hand massage. 

Lentil soup

I had a hard job concentrating in cooking as the onions made me cry! At least I got the lentils soaking.

Today I was able to put up our garden art sculpture. I was really proud of what we had done. 

Painting driftwood

In garden art I am painting pieces of driftwood to make a really cool outdoor Xmas tree. 

Arm bands.

I feel so relaxed! But my staff....... not so much! Haha

Here I am with the exercise ball and an elastic band. I used the band to pull my staff off the ball and onto the floor! A good way to keep my arm muscles big and strong.

I had so much fun at our mid year xmas party. There was so much food it was so yummy. We played pass the parcel as well.
