This morning we iced Christmas cookies. I really enjoyed spreading the icing and putting decorations on the cookie. What a cool morning 🎄

What an awesome time I had at the Christmas party on Friday! All my friends were there, heaps of awesome music to dance to, and we were even surprised with a circus show! The food was delicious. What a awesome way to end the year.

I had such a great time at the park this morning, I really enjoyed going on the wheelchair swing.

Being cheeky

I was feeling cheeky and I decided to use my arm bands to pull poor Michelle off her seat. Boy it was a workout for my arms but it was really funny.

This afternoon we had a Halloween disco! What good fun we had dancing and listening to scared music 🎃 I’m the corpse bride 👰

Today for girls group we made chocolate fudge! I helped to sift the ingredients into the bowl I can’t wait to try it! Yuuum

Waihi train trip

yesterday we travelled to Waihi to ride the steam train. We went to visit ngaire as well. The train felt a bit funny while we were riding it. But it was so cool!

Rugby World Cup 2019

Today we celebrated the rugby World Cup opening day! We did some fun activities, got my nails painted black and white in support of the all blacks! We then had a shared lunch and I partied the afternoon Away at our New Zealand themed disco 🏈

I had a great time relaxing in girls group this afternoon. I had a great foot spa.

Farewell Leigh

I gave Leigh some flowers and chocolates I hope Leigh has a lot of fun in her new town and never forgets us.

Snowball fight

in sensory session I was so exhausted after having a snowball fight using sheets and fabric. I even tried out the snow cave. My staff have a very funny imagination. It made me laugh a lot and I needed a neck tickle.

Ian came in and played his instruments to us, I was singing wagon wheel and Ian was playing his saxophone.

Happy 30th birthday to me!

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday with my friends at Arohanui. I read the weather out to my friends at catch up. At lunch time We had cake and after lunch I sang my heart out.

In computer session I tried out a new game on the IPAD. It was pretty cool. My best score was 81.

Music with Tess

this afternoon Tess came in and played her guitar for us. I loved it!

Foot spa de da

Oh how amazing. I had a foot spa yesterday and fell asleep. The staff caught me snoring out loud!!!It made me laugh so hard I almost fell off my chair. I was really relaxed especially with the my party music in the background. It was all good.

Angels, we played and sung in front of our friends in hope to get into the finals.

Sonic cinema

i went to the sonic cinema in the historic village today. We watched 'the greatest showman' and ate popcorn! I enjoyed it but I almost went to sleep at the end!

Apple juice

I helped make apple juice in girls group. I really liked it too.

Singing at work

Last Friday Vanessa caught me playing the tambourine and singing to "Angels" by Robbie Williams during the music session!!! When Leigh heard this she almost fell off her chair in disbelief. It made me laugh for a long time. In fact, it still makes me giggle when I talk about it with my friends.

Florist Visit

Today we went to Blooms on Cameron where Justine brought the flower that I liked the most in the shop, I had big smiles and was looking at all the different colours! 

Sensory

In my sensory session we had a roaring fire and I was wrapped up in a blanket, it was a really cold day but the blanket warmed me up.

Garden art mosaic

Today in garden art I continued making a new Arohanui sign for our garden
The sign is made out of mosaics. I had fun gluing tile on the wooden board

Baby Torben

Today I saw Dee and baby Torben and I had a hold and he is really gorgeous. I wanted to take him home.
