Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

we had the end of year bbq on Tuesday, we got to do a photo hunt which was really fun.

Chickens

We put the chicks outside for the first time in a coop, they really like been outside.

Thanksgiving

On Thursday 23 rd November we had a special Thanksgiving sampler plate at lunch. I learnt about American Thanksgiving and ate turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potato, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie. It was yummy. I almost licked my plate clean!

Today in Jewellery Making I was working on my Keyring is a secret present for someone I know that needs to think of me everywhere they go. I used small blue beads and big chunky striped ones. I focused really hard and listened to Christmas music.

I had a ball in sensory learning how to take funny selfies on the iPad with lights on my face. It was cool!

Organizing Xmas party

I went to the hotel where we are having our xmas party and organized the menu. I got to meet the chef and the events organizer and had a cuppa with Tina and some snacks.

Costume party

We had a costume party at Arohanui last Friday. It was cool. I dressed up in an orange shirt with two plaits and a pumpkin headband! The music made me laugh so hard. I was really tired after all that fun. I can't wait to do it again.

Eyeball cupcakes

I helped my group in cooking Session today to make cupcakes for our party this Friday.

Jewellery making

I am making a crystal bracelet, I'm not sure if I should keep it for myself or give it to one of my friends or family.

Music and dance

I had so much fun trying on the wigs and clothes in music, just like a rock star!

Comedy corner

I love to tease people and pull people off their chairs with exercise bands. It makes everyone laugh. Some of my favourite things to say are "handle the jandal "and " harden up cupcake"!

I have nearly finished my mosaic, it is about to be grouted so I can take it home.

Icing Lenaires bday cake

I helped ice Lenaires birthday cake by torch light as we had no lights at Arohanui.

Mums Quilt

Over the last two months in Sewing, I have been working really hard to make my mum a Lovely blanket, a quilt that I made by cutting out pieces of fabric and sewing them all together in a nice pattern. I then stitched a red felt backing onto it. I was so proud of it when I was done and couldn't wait to take it home for mum.

High tea

I helped out with the high tea we had in girls group.

fishing

I had a fun outings ovwer the last two weeks to Chapel street bridge and Memorial park to go fishing. it was lovely to look over the water and see the sights. we didn't have any luck with the fish, but at chapel street we got lots of bites, we will be back!

Happy birthday to me!

On the 12th of July it was my birthday. My Mum brought a cake and I took it to work to share with my friends.

Guide dogs

We had some cute puppies visit us, they will be training to become guide dogs, I wasn't too sure as they were a little playful, but I took a concrete pill and took a photo with one. Well done me. 

Fun on the iPad

I had a blast using a new blog in my iPad called FMM, it's a fun movie maker where you record your lips and your voice and put it onto a funny photo. I was cracking up.
